DAY 1 CAIRNS - MAREEBA WETLANDS - CHILLAGOE CAVES (LD)
Early departure from Cairns as we travel via Kuranda Range through Mareeba to Mareeba Wetlands Reserve, and a guided boat tour of Clancy’s Lagoon. The Mareeba Wetlands are well known for the large variety of birds that frequent the area which you will see on your guided boat cruise. Lunch today will be at the Skybury Coffee plantation with amazing views over the area. Sit on the balcony and enjoy lunch, coffee and a tour of the complex. Off to Chillagoe where we overnight at Chillagoe Eco Lodge: Chillagoe.

DAY 2 CHILLAGOE CAVES - OOTAN ROAD - GEORGETOWN (BLD)
Your day starts with and early morning tour of the Chillagoe Caves. We then travel the Ootan Rd, finding a nice spot along the way for lunch. Experience the scenic landscapes of the vast Gulf Savannah . Time for an optional tour of the TerrEstrial Museum Overnight at Latara Resort: Georgetown.

DAY 3 CROYDON - NORMANTON - SUNSET CRUISE - KARUMBA (BLD)
An early start to the day and we arrive at historic Croydon . Lunch at Normanton, then off to our Sunset Cruise at Karumba. Karumba is well know for its stunning sunsets which you will experience first hand whilst on a Sunset Cruise. Plenty of opportunity along the way for stops at Lagoons and waterhole's. Overnight Matildas End: Karumba.

DAY 4 NORMANTON - GULFLANDER TRAIN - FORSAYTH (BLD)
We depart for Normanton and board the famous Gulflander train for a memorable trip to Blackbull. We stop al Lake Belmore for lunch and visit the site of an old Chinese temple. Overnight at Forsayth Tourist Park: Forsayth.

DAY 5 COBBOLD GORGE (BLD)
A day of interest and outdoor enjoyment. We explore the magnificent Cobbold Gorge by electric boat with a Savannah Guide. The Savannah Guides are well known in the area for there immense knowledge of the outback, site back and enjoy this educating time. Overnight accommodation is at Cobbold Gorge.

DAY 6 EINASLEIGH - SAVANNAHLANDER TRAIN - MT SURPRISE - UNDARA LAVA TUBES (BLD)
Today we travel via Einasleigh and Copperfield Gorge on board the Savannahlander Train and then by coach to Undara Lodge for an informative Lava Tube tour with a Savannah guide. Overnight Accommodation (share facilities)

DAY 7 MT SURPRISE - SAVANNAHLANDER TRAIN - CAIRNS (B)
Today another great rail journey on the Savannahlander Train through "The Gulf" (lunch at clients own cost today). Your Gulf Tour ends late in the day with the arrive of the tour bus back in Cairns at approximately 6:30pm. Tour ends with transfer to your pre-arranged accommodation.
